JIMMY AT THE JVC JAZZ FESTIVAL IN NEW YORK -- Posted on Friday, April 18 2008
Jimmy performed at the JVC Jazz Festival in New York in a free concert on June 19th. The concert took place at Union Square Park, South Plaza. Jimmy performed with the Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of Jimmy Greene.

Jimmy will be performing at the Monterey Jazz Festival in September, as well as the North Sea Jazz Festival in July, with the Next Generation Jazz Orchestra. More details to follow!

ASCAP Award -- Posted on Monday, February 4 2008
Jimmy's composition, Circuit, has received Honorable Mention in this year's ASCAP Young Jazz Composers Awards. He will be acknowledged at this year's Jazz Wall at Lincoln Center in June.

Jimmy's original composition, Joe's Lament for Big Band is a semi-finalist in the 2007 International Songwriting Competition.

Jimmy is the recipient of an ASCAP Foundation Young Jazz Composers Award for his piece Tenure. His piece was one of 23 works to be so recognized. Jimmy was honored at the ASCAP Jazz Wall Event at Jazz at Lincoln Center on June 1st.
